About the Event

Documentary / Israel /  English / 2020 / 65  minutes -  Watch trailer here.

This is the story of a promising young rider from San Diego who held the Israeli high jump record for 20 years. But it is also the story of how the mutual affection for horses became an entry point for a significant collaboration between Israelis and Palestinians. On the personal side, Nancy crosses the borders of the divided secular and religious groups in Israel and also becomes the trainer for a Palestinian equestrian group in Jerico in the West Bank.

Join us on Wednesday, September 22 at 7:30 PM PDT for a Q&A with the two filmmakers Dr. Marcia Rock and Naomi Guttman-Bass, as well as Nancy Zeitlin, the award-winning equestrian who is the subject of this moving documentary.

Admission is $11 per household and includes the Q&A with the filmmakers.

Sponsored by the EBIJFF in partnership with CCJCC, Cong. B'nai Shalom and Cong. Beth Emek.
