Frequently Asked Questions about EBIJFF 2026

In-theatre Information

  • Try and arrive at the theatre 30 minutes prior to each film’s start time.

  • There is no General Admission seating, so select your seats in advance for each film on our website.

  • Should you have questions about getting tickets, contact us at info@eastbayjewishfilm.org.

  • Avoid sitting in seats for which you do not have tickets.

  • Please go to your reserved seats at least 10 minutes prior to the advertised start of each film.

  • If you do not arrive at least 10 minutes before the advertised start of a film, your seat may be sold to someone.

  • For approximately 20 minutes prior to show time, we will show a video on the screen that lists the Festival sponsors and features other viewing content.

 

Can I still get tickets at the last minute?

  • Our in-theatre Box Office will be open prior to each film, starting at an hour before each screen time.

  • If a film is sold out, you will be given a numbered card. 10 minutes before show time, we will begin selling the seats for which the ticket holders have not arrived.

 

Safety Concerns

  • Our security personnel will be at each of our theatres to provide a safe environment for movie goers. The Pleasant Hill Police Department also has personnel who will patrol our area.

  • Please be advised that our security personnel may inspect any packages that you may bring with you to the Century 16.

  • We reserve the right to remove any attendee who behaves in an inappropriate manner.

 

Virtual Viewing of Our Films

  • While not every film is available to watch online, the majority of them will be available to be screened from the comfort of your home.

  • Our brochure lists the viewing time for each film: March 15 - 19 and March 20 – 25.  

  • Please know that you have an additional 48 hours to see a film if you start watching it at the end of the listed viewing period.

  • People who purchase a $280 and up pass can watch all available films online. Online viewing is also available to those who purchase a virtual pass.

 

Who do I contact if I need help getting a ticket or accessing our virtual films?

  • Beginning on February 3, please contact us at 925-240-3053 if you have any questions about reserving a pass, purchasing an in-house/virtual ticket or accessing our virtual theatre. If no one is available to answer, please leave a message and include your phone number.

  • Our Box Office is open during the live Festival from an hour before the first film listed on that day until 7:30  PM.
