About the Event

Alfred Hitchcock's 1946 film Notorious, starring Ingrid Bergman, Claude Rains, and Cary Grant, is set in NYC and South America. This global thriller is all about denied love, love found, deception, and intrigue (plus arsenic and a bottle of uranium). Watch the film's trailer here!

On Tuesday, October 17, 7:00 PM PDT, Riva Gambert, EBIJFF Director, will share insights into the making of Notorious as well as discuss the film's Jewish screenwriter Ben Hecht's life as a social activist during and after WWII in support of the creation of a Jewish State.

Admission is $3 per household. IJWC Year-Round 2022-2023 subscribers will receive a complimentary registration.

If you'd like to watch the film with friends on Saturday, October 21, at Beth Chaim in Danville, admission is $5 per person. Pre-register by October 19, 5 PM PDT, and receive a Zoom link for the talk. For screening tickets, click here
