Alfred Hitchcock’s 1946 film Notorious, starring Ingrid Bergman, Claude Rains, and Cary Grant, is set in NYC and South America. On Thursday, October 19, 7:00 PM PDT, Riva Gambert, EBIJFF Director, will share insights into the making of Notorious as well as discuss its Jewish screenwriter Ben Hecht's life as a social activist during and after WWII in support of the creation of a Jewish State. The link to this presentation will be sent to those who pre-register for the film screening by October 19, 5 PM PDT.
