Superbly acted and sharply written, this “trial of the century” portrays Pierre Goldman’s controversial trial in France. In 1975, Goldman was a fiery, revolutionary activist who was accused of multiple crimes including two murders. The case divided an entire country and widened the gap between conservatives on the right and left-wing intellectuals.
