About the Event
Screenwriter and film lecturer extraordinaire Galit Roichman will deconstruct the 1999 romantic comedy Notting Hill, starring Hugh Grant and Julia Roberts. Roichman, who holds a Master’s Degree in Cinema Studies from the University of Tel Aviv, is a member of the Israeli Academy of Film and Television. Through this lecture (and future ones we’ll present), Roichman will interweave different aspects of the film in order for us to better understand the director and screenwriter’s vision. Note: It is not necessary to watch the film in order to appreciate her “deep delves,” but if you prefer, you may find the list of streaming options here.
Admission: $10.00. Upon registration, you will first receive a confirmation email. An hour before the lecture begins, a reminder email will be sent. If you don't see these emails, please check your spam/junk folder to retrieve them. We suggest adding "notifications@wixevents.com" to your contacts or safe senders list.
