Documentary, USA/Israel, 2025, 105 minutes
This powerful, eye-opening documentary takes an unfiltered look at Israel’s most perilous chapter in recent history, a period defined by internal divisions and political extremism. Drawing on insights from Nobel laureates, Muslim leaders, peace activists, and other prominent figures, the film dismantles preconceived notions about one of the world's most scrutinized countries. A “must see” movie, it provides an unfiltered look at Israel’s most dangerous chapter in its 77-year history.
Soul of a Nation is written and directed by Jonathan Jakubowicz, whose personal connection to Israel adds a deep emotional layer to the film. His journey brings to life the complex realities that Israelis face on a daily basis.
