About the Event

Israel / Animation, Adventure, Family / Hebrew with English subtitles / 2015 / 90 minutes - Watch trailer here.

Abulele is a family favorite. A not-very-frightening "monster" movie as well as an allegory, this film is a good way to talk to children about their fears and how to overcome them. In this film, a boy struggles at home and at school after his brother is killed in an accident and he is bullied by boys his own age. When he befriends a mythical creature, it helps him outsmart his tormenters and overcome his grief.

The movie is suitable for Hebrew speakers and children 7 and up who are comfortable with subtitles. Admission is free as a community service. Please note: Upon registration you will first receive a confirmation email. An hour before streaming begins, you will get a reminder with the link to access the movie. If you don't see these emails, please check your spam/junk folder to retrieve them. We suggest adding"" to your contacts list.
