Miri is a 37-year old, twice-widowed El Al stewardess who has just about given up on life. One day, she unexpectedly finds herself saddled with a small Chinese boy whose migrant-worker mother has been summarily deported from Israel. Amidst increasingly deadly enemy attacks, the unit's 22-year-old commander must wrestle with the government's decision to blow up the symbolic command post just as the Israel Defense Forces leaves Lebanon.
